On Saturday, March 22, 2025 we hosted a Members Only Fourtillfour Car Club meet at our Fourtillfour Cafe Scottsdale. A Bugatti Chiron, Lancia Delta. and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, were all in the front lineup. All different eras, different cultures, one location. At Fourtillfour, it’s not about horsepower or price. It’s about soul… And the morning. These cars fall into three worlds:
-
High-end exotics
-
Vintage Euro
-
Vintage JDM / one-off builds
And yet, they belong together. Not because they match, but because they reflect the people who drive them. At Fourtillfour, the contrast is the culture. The cars start the conversation. The community keeps it going.
The Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione: The history
The Lancia Delta Integrale is more than a car. It’s a piece of motorsport history. The 1993 Evoluzione model represents the final evolution of the Delta’s rally dominance, a car designed to meet the strict Group A homologation rules. This meant that Lancia had to produce 5,000 road cars that closely mirrored the rally versions, bringing cutting-edge performance to the streets.
With six consecutive WRC titles, the Delta Integrale remains the most successful rally car ever. Lancia constantly refined the car’s design, widening the track, enhancing suspension travel, and squeezing more power out of the turbocharged 2.0L engine.
The 1993 Evo model delivered 210 horsepower, though many owners like the one at Fourtillfour have upgraded theirs. This car was a direct influence on future rally legends like the Subaru Impreza WRX and Mitsubishi Evolution series. Even today, it remains a benchmark for compact, all-wheel-drive performance cars.

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, this stunning Delta Integrale showed up at our Fourtillfour Car Club Member meet, and drew the eyes of our car club members. Originally sold in Japan, this car made its way to the U.S. under the 25-year import rule. The owner has made some tasteful upgrades: a chip tune pushing power to 250 hp, coilovers for improved handling, and a short-shift gearstick for a more precise driving experience. Some stylistic choices with rare factory options like leather Recaro seats were added as well. The Delta isn’t just a classic, it’s the blueprint for modern rally legends.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6: The History
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution needs no introduction in JDM circles. The Evo 6, particularly the Tommi Makinen Edition, is one of the most sought-after models, built to celebrate Makinen’s four WRC titles with Mitsubishi. But what makes this Evo 6 at Fourtillfour special isn’t just its model, it’s the story behind it.
This car started life as a humble Mitsubishi Mirage in 1998. A labor of love since 2008, the owner transformed it into an AWD, turbocharged rally beast. Every piece was carefully sourced from across the globe to match the rare Tommi Makinen RS2 edition, a left-hand-drive variant of the Evo 6. The car features the iconic Passion Red paint with rally stripes, period-correct parts, and an obsessive level of detail. The project showcases dedication and an understanding of what makes the Evolution such a special part of JDM and motorsport history.

Parked alongside exotics and European classics, the Evo stood out not only because of its price tag, but because of its authenticity. The owner, a dedicated builder, recalled the days of sourcing parts through old-school Lancer forums and eBay, pulling components from at least ten different countries. Now, the car is nearly complete, with only a quick-ratio steering rack and final engine tuning left to do. The build isn’t just about performance, it’s about recreating a rare and special piece of Mitsubishi history. It’s a piece of art.
The Bugatti Chiron: The history
At the opposite end of the spectrum sits the Bugatti Chiron, a car that exists beyond conventional comparisons. With an 8.0L quad-turbo W16 engine producing 1,500 horsepower, the Chiron is less of a car and more of a mechanical marvel. It’s the kind of machine that reshapes the limits of performance and engineering.
Yet, at Fourtillfour, it wasn’t just about the numbers. The Chiron was parked among rally legends and JDM icons, and the crowd wasn’t there to fawn over horsepower figures. It was there because, at its core, Fourtillfour isn’t about performance metrics, it’s about passion.

Watching the Chiron roll into the meet was a moment. It wasn’t met with hushed reverence, but rather an appreciation for how it fit into the wider car culture. It represented the cutting edge of performance, just as the Delta once did in rallying and the Evo 6 did in JDM circles.
Fourtillfour: One Car Club, Many Roads
At Fourtillfour, the diversity of cars is the point. A Chiron isn’t out of place next to a 30-year-old rally car. A meticulously built Evo stands just as proudly as a multi-million-dollar hypercar. It’s not about matching paint jobs or belonging to the same era. It’s about a shared understanding, an appreciation for the machines that move us, in more ways than one.
And that’s why these cars, despite their differences, belong together.
Because at Fourtillfour, the cars start the conversation - the community keeps it going.
