If you are looking to see some seriously good and unique collector cars, in a more intimate setting, then the Bonhams auction might be the right place for you. There will be two days of preview on Thursday, January 22, and Friday, January 23, where you can see the rare 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 Coupe Chassis. The Auction is on January 25. This 1961 Land Rover Series II 88-inch Hardtop was originally owned by Arthur Miller and his wife, Marilyn Monroe.
This 1984 Nissan Skyline RS Turbo 'Type DR30' Gr. A Touring Car would be an excellent choice for the Shakedown meet at Fourtillfour (every 3rd Saturday of the month).

Arizona Concours d’Elegance 2025 (January 19, Scottsdale Civic Center Park)
If you want to see rare, unusual, and exotic cars, attending the Arizona Concours is a no-brainer. Each year they feature over 100 unique vehicles in different classes. Plus, it’s a nonprofit event that benefits the arts and local artists.
You can attend the auction over at Scottsdale Civic Center Park – about a 10 minute walk (or less) from the Fourtillfour Cafe Scottsdale shop.
What are the featured classes?
This year there are 16 classes that will be featured on the Arizona Concours d’Elegance. Some of them include:
- Exceptional Early Engineering – Vintage Cars (1916-1927)
- Pre-war Sports and Race Cars
- Avant Garde – 1930s, 40s, and 50s Unique, Unusual, or Cutting-edge Engineering
- A Collection of Important and Historic Motorcycles
- Mid-Century Modern Engineering Mastery – Stylish 1950s/1960s Luxury
If you are a history lover, you might even see some carriages from before 1916. And if you are into iconic engineering, there will be a class specifically for Ettore and Jean Bugatti.
How are the different classes judged?
Well, primarily they judge on historical accuracy and afterward they have a straightforward process:
- Exterior
- Interior
- Engine
- Compartment
- Chassis
- Operations
While they do start all vehicles, they don’t deduct points if a vehicle looks used - after all they are meant to be driven.

Bidder registration is open to those looking to participate in the action, and online bidding is available for those unable to attend in person.
